MSSU is currently seeking candidates for an Anatomy and Physiology position in the Department of Biology and Environmental Health starting January 2025 in Joplin, Missouri. Successful candidates should be prepared to teach undergraduate courses in anatomy and physiology for majors and non-majors. Experience with cadaveric dissection is preferred, but not required. Additional courses may be considered dependent upon credentials.

The position requires a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence, scholarly activity, and advising at the undergraduate level. Ph.D. in biology, anatomy, physiology, or a related field, or an appropriate professional degree (M.D., D.V.M., D.C., etc) is preferred; however, candidates who are ABD will be considered.
